Open world yes. Raids are relegated to discord servers but most of the channels are dead as well. PvP has been ignored since 2017 and Alliances drove away a lot of players from WvW.

This is the deadest mmo when it comes to the endgame that you will find on the market. And why wouldn't it? They have literally abandoned dungeons 13 years ago. It took them what? over 5 years to release a raid wing, which is just a 3 strikes bosses😂Everyone who cared about the endgame has moved on from this game well over half a decade ago. All what's left in the game are wvw players (the only sane community) and those that brainlessly zerg around in the open world spamming the auto attack to collect greens and blues junk to salvage. This is the state of this game. For any remotely hardcore gamer that wants to get into the endgame, there's nothing worse than GW2.

All the posters on top are incapable of saying anything negative about the game (paid anet shills). They're literally lying to you just so one more person joins their dead game. This game was NEVER about its endgame. Even back when Anet had an actual budget for development (which was in 2016, so it has been insanely long since they began developing this game on Welfare checks), the endgame was an afterthought. GW2 is all about its open world, which is nothing else but brainless, unrewarding zerging and wvw. That's it. You don't play gw2 for its pvp. You don't play gw2 for its raids with zero rewards. You don't play gw2 for its dungeons.

In Teapot's case, he'll set his brain on autopilot, and go back pressing the W key in wvw. That is the only thing you can do in gw2 as a streamer that streams the game for 6-12h. Its sad, really.

as I said I am a Linux user and have switched to Proton GE for Guild Wars 2 for a slight performance gain. the 8 minutes were going in and making some screenshots to show I am a real player something you have not done!.
