question about elite skills points

Is it easier to do it on path of fire or heart of thorns or do i need to grind both to get them all

Skill points are skill points. You can pick them up in the base F2P areas.

Path of Fire skill points are generally easier than Heart of Thorns though.

There is not enough hero points in one expansion to unlock every elite spec. The total required per elite spec is 250 hero points. Each hero point in the expansions gives you 10.

We are talking about the same thing.

There is no such thing as elite skill points. Skill points from F2P areas can be used to learn Elite Specs.

The difference is that F2P skill points will give you 1 each time, while the expansion areas will give you 10.

You will likely use both expansions to get enough points for 2 Elite Specs, if you only use the skill points from expansions.

I would say PoF has the easier skillpoints to farm, just because the HoT maps are quite tricky to navigate and their raptor packs are never easy to handle.
Also you can get skillpoints in WvW.
There's a merchant you can buy them for WvW rewards.

That would be the Notary merchant (scroll icon) that can be found at any map at spawn. However, unless you WvW regularly, it is not recommended due to costing Testimonies of Heroics.

i find it funny , having all elite point specs unlocked and still get drowned in mastery points with no idea how to use them ... time for a 4th sub class to play with

In kinda new to guild wars 2 but I played the hell out of guild wars one and really like the skill capping there lol. Also I feel like this expansion could’ve been a great time to introduce the dervish. Haha it was just my favorite class in guild wars
