First of all, there is the voice acting issue.

They claim it's because of the voice actor strike. Good claim, but here is the deal.

The strike isn't against the video games industry alone but mostly against the actors guild.

As a result, Arenenet happens to be on the good studios list, and such voice actors can work for it, but the deal is that the studios have to negotiate the deal with the voice actor because the actor isn't working with the guild that would normally have a deal ready for the studio.

And it just happens to be that only the expansive voice actors have standards, but the cheap ones unanimously have zero standards.

Mind you, the majority of these cheap voice actors in Repentance have enough money to be considered well off or even rich.

Second is the claim that the "6st expansion," aka Living World Season 8, is being delayed to lower crunch.

In their past interviews and even blog posts, even before switching from expansions to removing the free option on Living World seasons, they claimed this new strategy will ensure there is no crunch and Mommy and Daddy will be home for Christmas.

Absolutely positive things, but apparently either there is a massive level of mismanagement or someone lied, because they have to change the strategy for the 4th time since the End of Dragon because of crunch.

what i do agree is how Lineage saga is the flagship of ncsoft, people in the west dont care or dont even know about lineage which is huge in latin america, russia, east europe and korea but that it.
That game is alive because whales and visa warriors injecting absurd amounts of money for lootboxes but go ahead, play the official servers, entire zones are dead and forgotten, replaced by instanced content farmed by newbies in some attempt to be relevant in mid-late game and in few months they'll realize that if they don't invest between $300-400 monthly they wont get anywhere, endgame is designed for whales in Lineage 2 and the f2p end quitting sooner or later because there's absolutely no chance for you to do sieges or clan wars (end game content) vs visa warriors who can one shot you. That's the game mr russ wizard is praising big LOL.
