Actually, the last map is coming in may with the last major update, because there will be two more maps added, not one. So both of the next updates will have a new map in them
They published a road map for the expac and have been sticking to it thus far, so I assume it's still accurate:
https://www.guildwars2.com/en-gb/news/guild-wars-2-janthir-wilds-launches-today/
Release: 2 maps. One clearly unfinished and devoid of anything to do besides copy-paste events; the other essentially a worse version of the (free) Grothmar map we got 5 years ago.
Update 1: copy+paste the lame bosses from map#2 into a "raid wing", so they can pretend the game's raids didn't die 7 years ago. This is not a raid.
Updates 2 and 3: what even is there? It's clear thinly spread junk like Gyala Delve was the future of this game, and boy does it show nowadays.
Who exactly asked though?
The topic of the post is how many maps there will be/are coming, and everything was answered in that regard.
I really don't mean to be pushy and I genuinely don't mean any offence, even to someone like you, because the discussions are for discussing after all, but I think that even you can acknowledge that this is just absolutely off-topic and trying to lead the discussion in a completely different direction now
If you want to discuss things why don't you create a post for it ? I mean, at least the discussions here are quite active, so plenty would join in
