There's a reason why so little dev even bother creating an mmo, its way too much work, and is risky. UE5 or not, you ain't getting it done in under 7 years, and by the time its out, it might be extremely outdated. Stop the cope already.
so far several games developers have talked with me about how games are made, and they are currently making a living doing it, how are you so all knowing so far it seems you are great at knowing things but can never prove anything.
you have no clue about how timescales work, you quote BS and get caught out and simply don't reply in threads when you really get caught out. you really have zero knowledge about costs.
as for us coping, well I think I play games I like and support them looking at your entire post history you seem not to enjoy gaming. out of the two of us I cope well.
So the reason you don't like it was because it was too difficult?
You make me look like a nice, caring person, and I slightly agree with you. lol
your lack of knowledge is amazing games don't get an infinite budget, and each expansion for a game gets a budget for development. The budget is based on expected sales.
Company's work by making enough money to pay all the staff all the time and make a profit.
You are great at naming one of a very few exceptions to the rule.. I was personally amazed you didn't name Star Citizen. The other big exception but the other hundreds if not thousands of games developed in the timescale I mentioned are the rule. I suppose one of the big problems for you is that GTA games were and are primarily console based games and with the rapid changes and console complete redesigns it must be causing havoc in the development of GTA6. and just for fun A 2021 job listing from Sony suggests the development of a new console. We can assume that the PS6 release date will be around 2026. and with the rather major changes between each playstation that will throw most of the code away again.
I really don't understand your hatred driving you to forums that are obviously occupied mainly by people that do like the game and you still spew your own brand of hatred.
As for incapable of supporting I find that a bit of a joke, new expansions and a clear continuation of the same project. and in the Future a successor named Guild wars 3. This is the big long term success for Anet and yes its been paying the bills and keeping the lights on so I don't believe any of the its dying ,dead or no one plays it anymore BS.
Why are they still making expansions if they're preoccupied making an entirely new game.
Well good thing they're putting the funds back into the game and not into several cancelled projects.
