Can't Buy From Trading Post
Hey there,

I just bought three expansions and I've been playing for a few hours on and off since yesterday. I haven't been able to make any purchases through the trading post because it tells me I need to upgrade my account. It's treating me like I'm a free to play account, but I'm not.

Does anyone know of a fix for this issue?

if you just bought them, it takes 5 days after that

Yes, I just bought them yesterday. I'll try again in a few days then.
Wait 5 days. Upon buying your first expansion, there is a 5 day waiting period until the TP fully unlocks as an anti-bot measure. This process is automatic.

I discover that today, my guild explain me that i need to wait a few days, meanwhile try gather every material you can't, then when those 5 days ends, start selling those materials to make some gold
I no longer have the timer, but instead says i need to purchase heart of thorns, regardless of having path of fire and heart of thorns...

You should contact support
how exactly do i do that? I have checked out the support tab on the game, but steam want's to redirect me to the non steam website...

If you have access to the expansion (including a free lvl80 booster), then regardless if you see the timer or not, 5 days after your purchase will fully unlock the TP. That is an automatic system.

Contacting support is through Anet's website which is off of Steam. They do have a Steam sign-in for Steam accounts.
if today is the 5th day, does that mean tomorrow i will have access? (the purchase was made on the 14th at 4:05pm)

Its a scam, basically it is false advertising. I went through this as well. Like others have said it is on an auto unlock after 5 days. They really need to change what it says in the game. I already went to customer service and they just blew me off. Strangest part is you cant screen shot the message, it doesnt show up, like they designed it so you couldnt have proof that way.
It does what is said 5 day delay for full unlock to full player from restricted .

That five-day auto-unlock was a real letdown! They could have handled it much better with a clear warning before the upgrade. It's frustrating that it wasn't more upfront, but I'm still playing and enjoying the game. I hope ArenaNet will take player feedback seriously and improve this aspect in the future.
