It's fun when you keep at it long enough for the attunements between elements becoming 2nd nature, and hey - at least you don't have to swap weapons, just elements.
For 1st class it might feel challenging to a new player perhaps, but you can make builds where you mainly are most times in 1 element while learning the game, so less piano playing.
Then do more challenging builds later if feels like it.
I enjoy Elementalist and all it's elite specs myself.
yeah, i took a break from my elementalist to figure out the game mechanics on another class, and now i'm back to her and it's finally starting to click.
