I'm an old ass boomer so i think i'll be ok with the some dated mechanics :D
I just rolled a Mesmer in GW1 lets see how it goes.
You saw through my ruse. I thought I was subtle.
Gw2 is basically still the industry standard in action gameplay and a monster of still relevant content.
Yeah, just fire up a random Woodenpotato youtube video, if you need dat ancient lore
GW1 is dead and GW2 felt like a trap for GW1 fans.
Before GW2 came out there was so much advertisment in GW1 for GW2 to be the follower, even the last GW1 expansion was very much about taking your archievements to GW2. But as other said, it seems an other genre.
My first hours PVE (as GW1 fan) feel until now like:
- ???? I don't see the skill building system. This can't be GW2.
-Are the attacks the same, just an other amount of damage?
-Is this about pressing buttons as fast as possible? not really or.
-What are these currencies? Was this a popup to buy gemstones with cash? Please no.
-Oh hell, they put even a more increadable amount of trash items.
-For what are these trash items good and wich one to sell and which to trade where? Oh yes! a mushroom cooking recepy at the trader. Ok I activitated the recepy and ... tadada ... Disapeared. Seemed is unlocked, or? Clicking on the mushroom ... Nothing ... How does it work? ... Damm, I don't get it.
-This world seems very messy, I do quests without feeling a keystone archievment thing. Or a place to calm down when I am afk, because the trashy monsters reswarn.
-Where is the quest to end this tutorial?
