A matter of principles!
In the official GW2 forum I simply opened a topic to say that I would pay for someone to finish the Super Adventure Festival, moral of the story: I was banned from the forum for a month.

I asked the moderators for explanations, but no answer was given.

After two years of playing GW2 serenely, purchased in a box with a free t-shirt in a local store, as a matter of principle I decided to delete the game, delete the account, destroy the box, but I kept the t-shirt because it is always a useful garment.

In conclusion, the moderators of the official GW2 forum are cyberbullies and deserve to be reported.

EDIT: I forget that this community is populated by prejudiced people. I admit that I expressed myself badly and so below is the message that got me banned from the Arenanet forum

"It is a real injustice that after years the Super Adventure Festival is still incomplete. Hire someone, please, make a DLC and I will definitely buy it. It is really a great event there are many young talents who have creative power and would be able to successfully complete this above mentioned event!"

Go with logic, Who am I to hire someone to develop a DLC for a proprietary game? Of course I couldn't say something like that.

I want to be even more specific for those who, perhaps, are not lucky enough to have a brain or have sold it to pay the mortgage.

If I had written on the Arenanet forum that I would have paid someone to develop the Super Adventure Festival, how do you think I would have managed to get the DLC included in the original game?

cool story bra
much funz with Warcraft

I doubt you did any of that, especially destroying the box. But if you did, well done.

On topic though, you basically wanted to hire someone to play on your account. Had you actually gone through with that, that would have been grounds for a permanent ban. From the game, mind you, not just the forums and not for just a month. I think the ToS is quite clear on that. You know, as a matter of principles.

You got off lightly. Swallow it and grow up. But since SAB was in April and we are now in December, you clearly cannot let go...

Incompetence and stupidity runs rampant through the ranks of ANet. With their constant bad game decisions and incompetent coding, their are doomed to crash. They are recycling stuff like a wvw exclusive mount, the Warclaw, which is now NOT exclusively wvw because they have zero imagination. The continual updates for the updated update is colossal.

And let's not forget the fact the warclaw is literally just a recycled griffon.

Wonder what the next expansion feature will be. Tridents for everyone?

On land breather mask for some gas filled area. Everyone will turn the visuals off, and it will only be useful in one small spot on 1 map. It somehow won't work in the map that has a gas filled area that needs a breather mask.

On the OFFICIAL forum you:
1. Advertised
2. To pay someone real cash for in game benefits
3. That required you to give another player access to your account

1 is where the posting suspension came from.
2 and 3, if you did it, would have banned you from playing permanently.

This is not exclusive to Guild Wars - this is common for nearly all MMOs.

It's funny because I read the post the other way, that they wanted to hire a developer to finish the event.
I imagine the festival takes a ludicrous amount of development and testing resources for very little monetary gain. All that planning and testing to make the jumps and such perfect, would go much farther building bland empty maps with a repeating meta and a crazy legendary item grind.

idk, this sounds so far out of left field it's in another ball park. I have been a member (active) of the gw2 forums for ages and mods don't do much as long as you are not being overly rude or trying to ACTUALLY BUY stuff with realm money. Something is telling me you are missing a very important part of your story. deleting your account over something so trivial seems childish at best, fundamentally stupid to the 5th degree. Thinking back i got a one day suspension from the forums but let me tell you it took a 20 page VERY HEATED debate over P2W with both sides using language that would of made a sailor cry. So i sense something else happened or nothing at all happened and you just wish to have your moment of "fame"

Yes, I did, I really destroyed the box and the DVD.

I expressed myself badly, I meant that the developers had to hire and then I would pay for any DLC. Who am I to hire someone to develop a DLC for a proprietary game? Go for logic, and grow up you who think badly without using your brain!

This fact that I explained happened in past years and I wanted to explain it here, where I can express myself without being unfairly banned from cyberbully moderators.

NO, I repeat here, without misunderstandings what I wrote, free not to believe me. I apologize only because I expressed myself badly and I forget that you are full of prejudices about people you do not know.

Unfortunately, you don't know the law and a forum is a "place open to the public" where anarchy cannot reign and the owners do what they want disrespecting the members.

I did not write vulgarity, I did not offend anyone and I was banned.

It seems so absurd as to be unreal, but this is my personal experience and I do not allow you to treat me as if I were a liar just because of prejudice.

My experience really happened and these are the facts. PERIOD.
