I am now at Chapter 7 but it feels much much more worse than the other expansions...

SoTO isn't great no. The only good thing about it was the fast rotation of events. Less waiting. The rifts are just bleh. Janthir Wilds looks better imo. Gw2 shines in forestry environments.

Soto gives a ton of upgrades to the account:

• permanent elite weapon unlock
  
• new weapon type
  
• legendary armor PVE only grindable
  
• easy Skyscale

No, an Expansion gives a Story and a new Map. That what you listed could be an small update.

soto´s story could be compressed into 3 things :
1. rifts , rifts and even more rifts
2. peytha wisper galore
3 ruining older content map metas like in maguuma with the ppl scattered around only hunting for number 1

I just found the entire concept of SotO's story rather....dull and a bad case of "look, you may have beaten the bigbads that you've been fighting the entire game, but did you know, unbeknownst to ANYONE, there has been an even BIGGER big bad this entire time?"

I hope the Kryptis plotline dies of in Janthir and forward, it was real bad.

from what i know is that janthir wilds has a complete different theme : white mantle and bear cavalary

New weapons and legendaries are absolutely not "small update" lmao

Another big bad that is actually super easy to defeat.
I don't know why we couldn't just have a story to deal with the collapse of the dragon cycle. You could play with that concept a lot.
The worst part is no one in SoTO treats you like the bad ass immortal demigod you are. They should be bowing before you.
Every mook fight should have just been one of them going "oh ♥♥♥♥ it's the commander, run for your lives!"

why not let us face another faction from another part of the globe ?
why not a freak ass invasion from the far west with airships and subs that are a lot more advanced then anything cantha and asura can produce , similar to skyforge ?
and the new threat is the beginning of a new saga where we as the commander have to rally literally everyone to our side , even aurene ?
the new faction is some sort of evil empire that somewhat allies with the inquest by promising them new labs or something ?

Hoping Janthir feels like setting foot in HoT for the first time again. I want to be BTFO.

I unlock the parts of the game I want to do.

It's been a while, but I think Path of Fire is the only story I completed, for Griffon.

i finished path of fire , the living world season 2-4 and icebrood + end of dragons
no clue if i ever finish soto , its guild wars´ version of wow´s WoD
