Just after I bought an expansion, paid and then noticed the game did not register the expansion.
So, tried to log into my account and keep getting error in title. Wtf?

They seem to be having problems with logins and the communication between Steam-Anet for like 3 weeks or so now for some reason, there's been lots of disconnects where people couldn't login and they were doing some huge "data transfers", so who knows what could've gone wrong
Give it a bit of time, but if it doesn't start working definitely contact support and ask them for help directly

I was able to login once since I wrote the OP. No new expansion registered yet. Then I tried it again to sent a ticket, and ofc I could not log in again. So I sent an email to their support. Hope this will not take a week.

I am so done with this. Having to solve Google's reCaptcha everytime I try to log into Arenanet website, is driving me crazy. I suspect it detects Firefox and just trolls with a gazillion puzzles.

I think they are having issues. And yes that captcha is maddening.

It has been fixed. Suddenly got all the updates. And logging in works fine now.
