So when their automatic system bans those accounts, you will be hit by that as well
If this is the case, simply contact Arena Net support
They will most likely restore your account
Was appeal to them i use VPN for better connection
since my Internet Provider had not Good Connection , especially for GW2
but they reply :
"Hi,
We have reviewed this account and found it participating in, or directly associated to, high risk or malicious behaviour. In an effort to maintain a safe and fun environment for all of our players, this account has been closed and is ineligible to be reopened for any reason, under any circumstance.
The decision to close this account is final.

some of them never logged in and logging back to know their account got banned
some of them got dc and then get banned out of no where

I get if your behind a government firewall and need to hide your connection, but beyond that, a VPN makes things worse, not better. Your comment about the ping is confusing to me because your bad connection would have gone through however many hops to get to the VPN, an end point, and then out again to the anet server. So a VPN should double your pings.
You can think of it like, imagine you are driving across the city and you need to get to the other side. Which is faster, driving straight there? Or driving to your friends house first, borrowing their car and then driving to your destination just so the destination doesn't know what car you drive.
You will get bans in their forum for literally anything they decide, they put words in your mouth and twist facts. I wouldn’t be surprised if the in-game moderation wasn’t much different.
You’re collateral damage, as long as there’s X amount of gem sales a month they don’t really care about single decisions. Especially when they know that the individual is from a country that has no agreements and doesn’t offer consumer protection like the EU. If you paid the games or anything with credit card I’d actually report a fraud case and charge the money (all) back.
Some of the smaller companies actually think that just because it’s “the internet” and a “video game” laws and rights don’t apply and that they can do whatever they want.
yeah that is classic corpo BS for security purposes, they avoid talking about it cuz social engineering, malicious actors can trick em and get valuable info about how to bypass, break security so they avoid giving any specific reason.
also all this eula, tos etc yada yada allows em to shutdown any account for whatever reason no argue, period, i had a fight with multiple blizzard fanboys cuz Blizzard changed EULA locking ppl out from account and more and if you read those eulas careafully they can close accounts and ban you with no liability no chance to argue nothing.
Make some noise in the GW2 subreddit, tbh this is unfair, im sure they have the logs and ip info, you have your account info and credentials etc this corpo trash makes me sick, blizzard does the same they even perma ban ppl for dumb things like insulting ingame, they wont give you a reason so dont insist asking em for proof or what exactly happened, they wont tell ya due security concerns, Tell that GM that banned you that you want your case reviewed by a higher instance, that all you did was using a vpn and explain why you used the VPN, Tell em you know that they know you didn't nothing wrong other than use VPN.
seriously this is massive dumb thing, Arena Net, your algorithm or whatever is the thing they use to ban people sucks so much. Go ahead go to gw2 subreddit, 600 plus hours to the trash just cuz their disgusting security was triggered by something beyond your control.
Find more threads in gw2 reddit about accounts being blocked for the same reason, see if theres any case a precedent where such ppl was unbanned and use it in your favor.

if you said that, its about the publisher which publish the game
some game from Bandai and others Big publisher usually make you "own" the game
I had so many games that already delisted from Steam
some of them are Big Games like Jump Force and some of them small indie like papapub
i dont think steam making it, its the publisher choice to delete it from people's library
but the banned thing was made by the publisher itself
steam cant help anything about that
as LSD mentioned and the ppl in the reddit thread, ask for your ticket to be escalated, tell em u have been a legit player, that all billing info, account info, serial codes etc are yours and most likely this is a "mistake" cuz you haven't been involved in malicious activities. using VPN shouldn't be reason to perma ban someone that's absolutely dumb specially since many many MANY people use vpns in gw2, if that breaks ToS or EULA's it shouldn't be reason to perma ban players, what a disgusting action.
Ppl have been banned cuz bank or paypal rejected a transaction yeah just like that, perma ban account into the trash bin cuz bank for whatever reason made a mistake and payment was rejected what anet doest next? ban you booooom!!! absolutely mindblowing, corpo cant get away with it, that being disgusting ubisoft, blizzard, EA not even anet they better check this carefully cuz can't recommend a game that bans ppl just like that sending automated useless mails with pre-made text.
Hec i would buy the game for ya, its dirt cheap worth peanuts during sales but the way they track and associate things??? sounds like i could probably get banned cuz i bought a key for a stranger and the stranger triggered some security thing and anet automatically considers every single actor involved guilty and ban ban ban omg 🤮😡🤬
