Logging in via Steam version of GW2

I have an old arena net account with all the DLC purchased on it. However i wanted to try out the steam version of the game since it would be more convenient and i could maybe use it on my steam deck later. When i load the launcher up all it says is "sign through steam". Is there no option to sign in with my Arena net credentials? Maybe im going nuts and dont see the button. Let me know if its possible.

It's not possible, they will also not combine your accounts.

But everything will function like the normal game. You have to buy next expansion through arena net etc
Can't mix and match

But yes, you will have all other steam features available

Make sure you only have 1 version installed
I had issues when I had both installed
