STEAM GW2 Link with GW1

Well, I need to talk about my personal experience to discuss this subject. I actually came from other MMORPGs and got really interested in GW2 when it appeared on STEAM. I really like that the games are on STEAM because everything is more organized in one place, easy to access, secure, without the need to keep different passwords and being able to follow promotions much more easily. The problem is that the years have passed and it seems that Arena.Net has kind of given up on doing some integrations.
I understand a little why the STEAM and regular Arena.net accounts were separated, perhaps even for contractual reasons. But I don't understand why STEAM accounts are deprived of several resources... We can't purchase the ULTIMATE versions of the products, we can't get the "Mini Mystical Dragon" reward for security in the account and finally about GW1 which is mine It's a matter of the moment, it's not possible to link accounts to the Hall of Monument... Currently I'm not even able to purchase GW1 because as I'm from Brazil, STEAM is blocking the purchase... and if I try to log in to the Arena.net to purchase the product and then through STEAM there is also an error and it cannot be purchased. So the bottom line is that I will have to make another account to purchase and I will never be able to get the Hall of Monuments rewards.
I've been looking for some information on the internet in the last few days but I haven't found anything if there are plans... especially because GW1 is really very old, but it's a good game that I would like to purchase and have the link with GW2.
Would anyone have more information about this? Any solution that I may not be aware of or is it just that, create another separate account for GW1 and that's it?

Those rewards are very grindy from what I've heard

There are some easy-ish ones. GW1 is also worth playing because its a good game.

Oh I really want to play a lot, seems a very good game and a friend played in the past and want play with me :3

I'm also very disappointed that Steam GW2 accounts can't link to GW1 to get the rewards.
I love GW, started literally the first day when it came to Steam and I'm already at a thousand hours played. I also bought GW1 on Steam, and I don't mind grinding for the rewards, but I'm afraid to start since I don't want to tie it to any e-mail address in case they change anything regarding the linking to Steam GW2 accounts

I think there's quite a lot of people in a similar situation now. Anet should really look into a solution, because I refuse to believe that adjusting the GW1 rewards is such an impossible task, like, just let the Hall of Monuments give out codes once you unlock rewards so that you can redeem them for GW2 or something like that for people who can't link via e-mail due to playing over Steam

There must be some way. GW1 might be old, but many still would like to experience it and get the rewards
