Cannot Log.in at Arena net

Hey guys anyone who can help me? I am trying to claim the free 24 bag slot via subscribing to newsletter, however I cannot log.in to arena net by steam log.in, this is so frustrating. I cannot even post in their forums because I can't log.in. It's been weeks of trying and everytime I try to log.in it just says "Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes."

Seems that Arena Net and Valve decided to not integrate the Steam version login with the Arena Net login.

On a side note:
A simple fix if someone downloads the 66GB+ Steam version and then realizes they cannot access the Arena Net Guild Wars 2 account to log into the game.

It means you do not have to download the game again from Arena Net in it's entirety.

1 - Start the Arena Net download (using installer on Arena Net) and within a min or two it will have downloaded the non-Steam Arena Net 'Gw2-64.exe'.
2 - You can then pause the Arena Net download and use this exe to run your Steam copy of GW2 using your Arena Net account.
3 - Ideally copy the new 'Gw2-64.exe' to somwhere safe and then cut/paste the Steam installation files for GW2 to your Arena Net installation folder and overwrite the old Steam exe with the new one.

Works just fine using your Arena Net account. Remember if you have already logged in to GW2 and created a character with your Steam login, you cannot access it.

Saves having to re-download the game a second time.
