Cosmetics stuff
Do forgive me if this is obvious to everyone else, but I was looking to pretty up my characters and had a few questions.

Now when I buy something, like outfits, or mounts, are they usable by ALL my characters, or just the one I am playing when I am making the purchase? Cause I haven't decided on a main yet.

And what is a good thing to buy, mounts-wise, for a newbie?

I got the raptor (permanent one), but it doesn't look as awesome as the stuff I see people have. Giant dragons and such. I'm very much a "need to have the shiny" type of person, sorry if it's shallow. 😅

The outfits, mounts skins and some other stuff are account wide so all your toons will have access to those cosmetics. EG: buy a outfit you like, all your characters r going to unlock that outfit in the outfit section (hero panel H key > outfits) same goes for mount skins, glider, dyes, skiffs, novelties etc.

hehe just be patient, there are "mount adopt licences" id recommend visiting gw2 wiki site and check all the available mount licences, there's a cheap version for 400 gems which gives you a random skin or the 1200 gems version where you can select the skin you like the most.

The only limitation is that if you want to change one of your equipment skins to one of your unlocked wardrobe skins that you need to pay one transmutation charge per skin. Which is why you shouldn't really use it before getting proper lvl 80 equipment. But in general you should get more than enough of those transmutation charges if you just play the game. As long as you don't get too oberboard with using them.

Also, this doesn't apply to any none equipment skins and it also doesn't apply to the colors of your equipment, which can always be changed for free.

There's some infusions (they are sort of like auras) that has the skin bound to an item.
Those are bound to the character wearing that item.
Those are the only non account wide skins I can think off

Everything else is account wide
Armor/wep you will need to spend transmutation charges to apply though, unless the item is of legendary rarity
