Is this a good solo mmo?

I have 10 hours only but I love the feeling the game has and I wanna buy the dlcs with the sales.
Thing is I really like playing mmos alone.

Yeah, that's exactly what I refer to, also is worth buying the first 3 expansions? or getting only the first 2 is better

With the sale going on, I'd say get all 3, the living world seasons (pretty much story setup for the expansions), and icebrood saga. The gameplay and story definitely improves over time.

also i got the 20 bucks 3 exp pack plus 75buks obscure pact for living world sale thats going on today and tmr. ultimate version of obscure dlc gives 4k gems so i was like why not.

If you like the game and can afford it, I'd say get the full package :)

But first 2 expansions is also a valid option
Can always buy rest later
But will probably be a bit more expensive overall when not in bundle

It’s the best solo MMO, even better than FFXIV which in all fairness already is intended as a single player game with multiplayer functionality.

That’s why you always have these people saying GW2 is a dead game. It’s not, far from it. It’s just that about 90% of the player base do their thing somewhere in privacy.

Buy the DLCs, it’s worth it. Potentially hundreds of hours of play for a couple bucks. No subscription, no FOMO, no licking someone’s … for a shot at items like in W..W.

Getting ALL the expansions on sale is pretty much obligatory now.
Actually the Complete Collection is almost a no-brainer too, for 10 years worth of content that is permanently unlocked.

This is a better deal than we had on the fricken steam launch!

That moment when i'm a few dollars short for the Complete Collection. Here's hoping the Winter Sale also has these discounts.

Saga complete collection is the way to go if you can. It's not just that it includes the living seasons, but that you don't have to try and catch the LSs on sale in the gem store. LSs add a bunch more maps, so they aren't just story.

You can do a ton solo, but I'd say it is a little better if you have one friend to run with.

i got more than 4500 hours in game and i played most of content solo, GW2 is a very solo-friendly game.

95% of my playtime is also solo, great casual game to be able to jump in and do stuff with other players in the open world without having to do much, if any coordination.
