As time goes by this game is getting boring since, it's fck*ng difficult to get even 1 legendary weapon / gear. It's easy to lose interest and play other game coz of this crazy difficulty

Just saw this pop as I was heading off, though I'd respond real quick.

Have looked at some of the guides for getting Legendaries? the ones that show how and when to gather the mats and stuff needed?

I followed a few for mine, and yeah, it takes awhile, their are things that can only be done a few times daily then ya gotta wait, but that's when ya do stuff with friends or other players or just go exploring. I do that all the time, or go to a hub and talk with people.

Important tip to avoid this: Have more than one goal, track different things. Whenever going after your main long term goal gets boring, try something different. Having fun is more important than getting progress by all means. Long term goals are just there to give you something to work on while you are having fun working towards it.

You don't need legendaries, they're just a convenience item with a long requirement to obtain to justify that convenience.

Have you done all the dungeons, gotten all armor & weapons sets/skins from them?
There's a dungeon rush event atm, you get a unique backpack from it!
And you need some of the dungeon currency in order to buy an item that you need for some of the legendary crafting.

Done all the fractals and started on the ascended > legendary backpack there, or gotten the weapon/skins?

Done the raids to start the legendary ring & armor ?

Dived into 5v5 pvp to start the legendary back or legendary armor?

World vs world masspvp for the legendary ring/backpack or legendary armor?

In the new expansion you can farm material to start the journey for yet another unique legendary armor set from the open world!

There are many unique armor sets & backpacks/trinkets that look different and that you get from different game modes, and that you can work on everyday, wvw,spvp,raid,fractal and so on = you get some variation of gameplay and not just the same stuff constantly.

Completed all big meta events on all maps across Tyria andor the expansions?

Done all Strike missions? many nice drops/rewards there!

Check the achievement panel, there are many cool rewards to go after there, weapons/trinkets/skins/titles etc!

However most of us get burnt out and take a break and then come back a few weeks later.

One last tip! just chip away on the legendary journey/stuff for a short while when you play, and after that maybe do something else that you find fun for the rest of the gametime you got, world bosses/fractals pvp or whatever.

Gotta try fractals all tiers till T4 with challenge mote, then.... strikes and finally ohh yeah prepare for raids that gonna be a nice challenge for ya.

Problem with this game is most of the time you cant just farm on a spot for 5 hours straight if you want to like in classic mmos. Most of the things here are timegated or tied to hour-specific metas.

nobody need a legendary weapon they are special that s all but have the same strenght like ascendet weapons, before u post ♥♥♥♥ take some ingame expierence

yes, BUT the "cost" of changing stats on ascendet is not even close like a legendary weapon craft, its not realy high to change stats on ascendet

Not P2W, a legendary does no more damage than an ascended or exotic weapon, and the later two are given to you in game at various places or through simple quests. Having a legendary gives you no advantage whatsoever over another player.

WvW gold per hour, in a zerg that's stomping the other two teams by flipping all their ♥♥♥♥, is about 10. Substantially less if you're not PvEing objectives in a ball, or worse, roaming. For reference, PvE gold per hour is roughly 40.
If you hop into the game and buy a bunch of legendaries, you've got a substantial advantage over the guys who don't; and the guys who don't aren't gonna be making the gold to get their hands on them any time soon.

So that's literally P2W right there. No argument.

You're a bit wrong on that one. Legendaries have identical stats to Ascended gear, but Ascended gear has roughly ~5% higher stats in every category per item than an equivalent Exotic item.

But, you're not going to convince the resident ESO tribalist either way - his argument is that the very act of being able to convert Gems into Gold and buy literally anything with that gold qualifies instantly as "P2W". He'd argue it's "P2W" if the stats were directly inferior to Exotic gear, hell he'd probably argue it's "P2W" even if it had no stats whatsoever.

Oops, sorry..been awhile since I played my character who has exotics..you are right..the easier to get ascended gear, compared to legendary, actually does a little bit more dmg than exotics. Thank you for correcting me. :)
