guardian staff celestial
Is it possible to somehow keep being celestial with guardian staff and still do some damage
i dont treat it as support because lmao might but it has no conditioin damage so cele stats are mostly wasted on it. Is there still a way to make it work or am i wasting my time

it can work i suppose, you are not doing much damage on staff to begin with regardless what stat you use as its a primary heal weapon for guardians. If you want to do damage you will want to swap to using axe + torch if playing Firebrand or sword + torch if playing Willbender otherwise stick to scepter + torch for core guardian builds. Staff can work in a pinch for long-ranged option but you do more damage with the above mentioned weapon set.

Although if you don't mind less damage then by all means stick with staff. A lot of your condi damage also comes from your utility skills and the passive of your Virtue of Justice so it can totally work.

Hey thank for clarifications, its an odd request but maybe you can help me out, is there a weapon that shoots slow moving relatively big projectiles that do okay damage?

You can run axe on willbender too.
For just £29.99, you too can equip an overpowered weapon on a mediocre paid-spec, whose real drawback was the lack of appropriate main weapon.
Great expansion.

You can do a decent amount of damage I think. I wouldn't go into endgame Fractals/Strikes/Raids.

Zeal, Radiance, Virtue. Focus on Burning, Spirit Weapons, and Resolution.

Utility of Spirit Sword, Spirit Hammer, Stand your ground (or Hollowed Ground), and Feel My Wrath for the Elite. Whichever Heal, I'd choose Signet of Resolve.

You should be able to keep Resolution up for the buffs, damage comes from burning with a little help from strike damage. Should make use of all Celestial stats.

thanks for the replies folks, i did some testruns with power and celestial and found the weapon to be underwhelming, as support damage or healing. You are all correct it seems its only for dedicated supports, shame. Cheers
