Inventory management Issues

Is the inventory still a complete mess in this game? I stopped playing this game because it's really a pain having to take care of all these items. There are so many items, especially relating to collections, but just in general, are unclear whether you should delete them or not.

It didn't change that much, but you usually know which items you can delete since most colection items says that they have no value outside of the collection. But in general having to take care of so many items is one of my bigger problems in this game, though less because of not knowing what to do with items and more because there simply are too many items with uses. At least the crafting materials can be easily stored. And since many years ago you also won't be getting tons of different equipment anymore as its stacked a a single unidentified equipment item, so you won't have to constantly salvage items.

collection items can often be sold after getting them, even says so on them.
There is alway "/wiki" +shift click item, to show what it is used for.

You no longer get the massive gear drops as before, now is is bags that stack and can be open when you want to.

But the is still a lot of map items, but unless you doing those maps, just put in bank.

I can feel your pain.
I came back a few months back to characters with full inventory
I could have checked each item on wiki, but I couldn't be bothered
I just sold all that could be sold, destroyed items I didn't knew what did etc
Banked items on alts etc
It was either that or uninstall

But you kind of learn what items do
It's worst if you come back to a full inventory after taking a long break as I desribed above :D

hit enter

And you will see what the items does
