Which it may be similar to how you can currently get the Siege Turtle.
I was just wondering how they are going to fit the acquisition into the narrative moving forward. I liked that all mounts had a part in the story or at least, in the case of the Jackal and the Griffon, have heavy ties to the lore of the region you unlock them in. Then in Cantha, the raptor and the bunny are "just there", without explanation. I hope they do more with the Skyscale this time.
But honestly I am fine with giving everyone the full version so maps can start taking advantage of it and be designed with flight in mind.
But I also think the skyscale was a mistake (from the start truthfully) and instead it should have been for the griffon so everyone could have a basic flying mount.
I know that a lot of people feel discouraged about the grind before they even start it. So in general it is a good idea.
If we're going to be forced onto skyscales for the new stuff, then I'd just as soon get it over with and start on the masteries, but I'm not looking to just throw a bunch of gold/time down the drain.
Really annoying they make a big announcement like this and won't clarify key things people playing their game obviously will want to know.
Even funnier, Maplestory is a game for baby boohoos and easily beats GW2.
Edited a typo.
The announcements are just the latest fixation. I’m sure they’ll move on in a week or so, just like they did with the whole Reddit thing. So much for that whole nonsense, it must get exhausting being wrong all of the time while having to move from one straw man to the next.

No, they're clearly just milking what they already have to sell. People who don't have skyscales won't buy skyscale skins, and what better way to sell the same elite specs than letting exp buyers unlock the spec weapons without being tied to the spec (which'll still require the other expansions)?
