Question about skyscale and Extra-Pungent Skyscale Treat.

I just fed my skyscale and am now on troublesom skyscales. And from what I have gathered I can buy 20 treats and just teleport to any required map and use the treat anywhere in the map and get a collection complete for that map? So dont need to do all the JPs and world bosses etc? Is this true?

When you use it, the nearest collection will be completed. So, look for the ones that are more "challenging" and it will save you a lot of time.

You only need 1 per map, so yes, just use it anywhere.

They ain't cheap, so for most of them it's FAR more worth your time to just take the 1-5 minutes to do the puzzle, unless your ability to press the W key and spacebar is really that bad.

If I remember correctly, all the JPs have a shortcut. Even the one in Metrica Province, the GW2 wiki did not mention the shortcut to that, I'm not sure why, but there is.

In the long run, I totally agree, all of it are doable. The best place to use the food is in Domain of Vabbi. It's where I used mine since only me and another person bothered with it, so we both used our food for that.

I didn't even know such a item exist until after I completed the Skyscale collection and got the Skyscale. Then only found out there was such an item. LOL.
