There are no "sucky" classes. But some specs \ builds are more "meta" in one content than others..
In my case Vindicator is my main atm. Yes, he has close to none utility and for a selfish dps spec he lacks the damage a bit ( unless bug-doge, which I hate ), but it's still fun to play and I really enjoy his rotation.
Renegade, Herald, Berserker & Harbinger are also my choices whenever I feel like it \ content requires me to adapt :)
I also like to play as the Reaper, because he is the most similar to the Death Knight
Of the races, I liked the sylvari the most. Something like this.
Oyeah Asura thanks. I dont usually go for such characters but the way he runs, jumps and lifts weapons is fun. Adds character
I like tanky armor, I like a magical/melee mix, and I love greatswords! Guardian checks all of that, and with Dragonhunter it even ticks the longbow appeal I didn't know I wanted :p
Core Elementalist was my favorite for a bit but I like eating damage and got downed frequently in HoT and PoF zones.
Once you get powered up, you can play every class in different ways, so what you think you have in the beginning is nothing like what you will end up with, and two people with the same class can be vastly different in their setup and playstyle...so much so, that if you're new and travel with them you might not even realize they picked the same class.
