i played the first beta back then
and played it on release, im a fan of guild wars 1 since release
but guild wars 2 seems to do everything to keep me away from it
where did i also state that guild wars 1 and 2 are the same games?
so simple critique is "flame" ??? lol these unskippable dialogues are a problem since the beginning of the game
just for your information i need to replay certain mission parts for achievements
to get the legendary aurora
i mean if you like to listen to dialogues all day go on, this feature would not be taken away from you if other people would be able to skip everything ....
there are games that value my time more than gw2
sad for them i guess. also i dont understand why you came along like a douchebag from the beginning, while i was simply criticizing a in my opinion stupid game mechanic
well good luck trolling around here. i guess the game isnt as good as you claim it to be because you lurk around here whiteknighting and defending the game like your life depends on it
in lw season 3 i couldnt skip one single cutscene
At this point, I am not sure if you're simply a troll, toxic fanboy or whatever you wanna call yourself or if you're trying really hard to get under everyone's skin but the one that usually seems to know nothing, or is extremely willing to kiss ArenaNet's backside... is you, mate.
Anything from LW1 onwards can simply not be skipped. People have been complaining about that for YEARS and ArenaNet has decided to do ♥♥♥♥ all and bury their heads in the sand, like they always do about anything they don't want to work on.
i cant remember that many dialogues in gw1 tho or i just got impatient :D
still so much dialogue is annoying to relisten over and over again
But I have to admit that it was a bit strange for me, especially in Dungeon. While you still have to/can watch the dialogues (since you can cancel the films), the rest of the group is already with the final boss. Should then apply to everyone or none. Once I joined a group, so we had to leave the dungeon and re-enter because at least 1 had chosen story mode.
I started HoT yesterday, at least in the prologue it seems to be cancelable if I remember correctly. It's strange that they didn't do the "living world" like they did in the normal story. (translated)
the old System where you can skip conversations in the story (see basegame) was disliked by a large group of players. Not because of the possibility of skipping, but how it was presented. People felt it tore them away from the experience since they suddenly ended up in a cutscene. And other reasons.
The new system was liked alot (see HoT).
I could only assume with anets spaghetti code, it being more difficult to skip dialogue outside of a cutscene. I would like if skipping was possible when replaying a few story elements, but I'm not bothered enough by it to truly complain.
