Fishing locked behind an xpac sucks

I don't like it.

Fishing is my favorite thing to do in RPGs and I was excited to hear it was coming to GW2 with EoD. I had assumed since they added fishing spots in other areas that fishing would just exist as a core feature, but nope. I've been bored of GW2 for a while now and fishing would have likely hooked me back in. Fishing is the only reason I'd consider buying EoD, and I have no plans on purchasing it just for that.

I don't expect this post to change this; I'm just voicing my opinion. I prefer xpac-required sympathizers buy me the xpac instead of trying to convince me :p

I play Real VR Fishing and that's probably the closest thing to the real thing :p

I prefer it on MMORPGs and some of my favorite times in WoW was sitting around in capital cities and just fishing. I would have liked to tried this in GW2.
