Anyone restarting on Steam?

I can’t think of a reason why somebody would want to rebuy all the expansions and living world and shop items again just so the game can be in their steam launcher.

I was going to as a f2p player simply because I have 50 USD in my wallet, but unlike the website, steam isn't selling all 3 xpacs for 50 bucks lmao

I didn't realize I can't use my ANet account on the steam install... There's no good reason to lose 10 years worth of stuff just to play through steam.

No way, I wanted to start fresh on steam but I'm not willing to pay 100€ for the same I already got for half the price on their site or even cheaper with keys. Just a cash grab for new players which only know/use steam I guess

I'm excited to start over and fall in love with the game all over again. I will completely abandon my account I've been on since launch. Masteries, mounts, all the shiny things accumulated over the years, are only things, and give me less to do.
