When you read through the game's description you might have read this:

Here is an information that might be important enough:
The daily login bonuses are not part of a login streak you may know from other games. There is no need to actually log in every day because otherwise it would set back your login streak. Instead, there are 28 guaranteed items you get (like laurels which are a special currency) and after that, you will get the same 28 items again. If you miss one login, you will get that bonus the next day you log in. So if you need to make a break, the game waits for you. No FOMO mechanics.

A pro tip: with the 28th login you get the Chest of Loyalty. You can choose one from four different contents: a chest with more laurels, a chest with several level up tomes, a chest with ascended crafting materials or a chest with legendary crafting materials.
Choose the chest with legendary crafting materials. Do it. Every time you get the chance on. It will take some time until you begin to craft your first legendary item but the earlier you start collecting 'mystic clovers' the easier it will become later. That chest is the most relaxed source of clovers. You get 7 per chest and you will usually need 77 clovers per legendary. Also those clovers are account-bound so if you need them you will have to earn them, they are not purchaseable from others.
Along with that chest you will always get the 'essence of gold' when you choose one of the four rewards which increases your gold find by 2% accountwide.
And if you think of choosing anything of the other three rewards...please never never never choose the lvl up tomes, don't take the extra laurels. The chest with ascended materials is technically helpful when you want to craft ascended items but the outcome is random and you will need many more materials (ascended is the second highest tier but stats-wise ascended items are exactly the same as legendary items with the difference that you can change the attributes of legendary items whenever you wish while ascended items get one specific set of attributes and will need special recipes to change that).

You can buy t6 material containers from the laurel merchant for one laurel and then sell the materials on the exchange, You can get 55 laurels and 20 mystic coins that can make you a decent amount per month for free.

That is if you are not interested in crafting legendaries, which most players, especially new(er) ones don't seem to be.

If you are, though, you will be much happier with the 7 Mystic Clovers, as crafting those cost way more than the Tier 6 mats get you for the laurels.

(Also, T6 is usually not the most profitable, if you want to be that meticulous. T3 and T4 containers are more valuable most of the time, though the margin tends to be low these days.)

I made a lot of characters and never bothered with the legendary grind, so I chose to get laurels a ton so I can get ascended trinkets using them for all my alts
