End Game

In case anyone wondering how long it takes to reach end game.
It is 5 seconds. Guild Wars 2 end game is roleplay, fashion and doing some random shet.
1- 70% Top gear takes an hour.
2- 95% Top gear takes a week.
3- 100% Top best possible gear two weeks.
At this point you are as strong as anyone who have been playing for 10 years.

Yeah, i've seen recent equiping guides and the way it works definitely threw me off the hype train, the fact that you have so much stuff to work on all over the map to catch up to other players and the progression is tied to so much grinding and time gated farm discourages me from getting into this, ascended stuff and specific stat gear getting locked behind time gated currencies, time gated and extremely expensive crafting recipes, or pvp chests and currencies also limited/time gated, and the fact that thief is down on it's knees and was my go to class, makes it hard for me to jump into the game and enjoying it's awesome combat and gameplay, geez, just let me farm my stuff at my own pace, there's ppl playing this for ages and having to wait to get stuff you could work on nonstop if you invested your time in it is crap...

Not that kind of player, too competitive to take my time while others are ahead of me lol, want the good stuff asap to enjoy my endgame build while focusing on getting good instead of wasting my time grinding gold forever or farming crafting materials for endgame gear..

Holy crap so many players with either zero knowledge or just wanting to troll player so they wont play a game they them self been hurt by. Sad really.
Here are facts though, the amount of time it takes for you to either gather material or gold to buy materials for crafting is nothing that only takes 2 weeks. That is utterly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
For me if i want to make a legendary today i can make one pretty easy because i have 10 years of materials and collections and everything done, but for you who start today. you are not gonna have full legendary gear in two weeks. It is litterally impossible.
Mostly because you also need to get certain items in which takes a long amount of time to get

Further more if OP only want to play fashion war, or any of the other things that don't really is very challenging then that is a choice you can make and that is ok. But it does not mean that there is no content for you as a new player. Infact you have over 50 maps to explore. about 15 worldbosses, over 25 meta map events which are open world event that takes about 40 ish minutes to clear with about 100 players on each map.
21 Fractals (our dungeons) with 100 levels, 7 raid wings with several bosses in them, 11 stikesmissions (one boss raids), World v World which is open instanced PvP going on over a week with 3 servers in each match 24/7 with resets on fridays, PvP, and PvP tournaments, Festivals, adventures (minigames) Mount and skiff races, story missions for 10 years, crafting, collection hunting, jumping puzzles and so much more.

For me with 10 years of this game behind me i am still playing and if i ever feel burned out i leave that thing i am burned out on until i am ready to pick it up again. There is so much else i can do in the game.
