How far down the road are we talking about?
Publishing these speculations in a nice format on a dedicated website doesn't make it more than what it started out as, though.
Both NCSoft and ArenaNet share some of the offers - might be that ArenaNet has some work on AION 2 mobile as a side project, but from what Bobby said in the interview (an what game director, Josh Davis reiterated and mentioned even earlier, the game is currently at it's healthiest state since launch. ArenaNet does not have neither the manpower, funds nor reason to kill GW2 now that it gave NCSoft it's largest share of PC game earnings in the last quarter. I also want to remind you that ArenaNet attempting to branch into another GW title almost killed the studio last time they tried it (hence the Icebrood Saga fiasco and being forced to save the game via End of Dragons - which fortunately helped the game for the long run in the end)
I highly doubt there is a Guild Wars 3 in the works. If so they would not waste time with a 4th expansion.
But each new release it gets harder to keep every map filled and interesting. EoD really forgot or skipped virtually all activities. It's obvious they ran out of time or money.
And unfortunately anet never really goes back and adds to existing content.
I think there is clues that they originally planned to let you start a new toon in Cantha, they even made starting areas, training areas, a pretty compelling home city instance. But it seems the idea was cut for time.
Reason I asked and just because someone posts or writes something, it does not mean it is fact.
