In summary:
Raptor: Path of Fire (PoF) and End of Dragons (EoD)
Springer: PoF and EoD
Skimmer: PoF
Jackal: PoF
Griffon: PoF
Beetle: Living World episode
Warclaw: WvW only
Skyscale: Living World episodes
Siege Turtle: EoD
To add to that, the Roller Beetle is obtainable from the 3rd episode of LW4. The Skyscale requires the entire LW4 season, but you get it from the last episode of it and the Warclaw is obtainable via WvW after finishing a reward track and finding a few things scattered around the map.
Not all mounts come from Path of Fire just the Raptor, Springer, Skimmer, Jackal and Griffon. Warclaw you can get from Path of Fire + WvW.
You will need "Living World Season 4 + Path of Fire" for the Roller Beetle.
You will need "Living World Season 4 + Path of Fire" for the Skyscale.
You will need "End of Dragons" for the Siege Turtle.
If you are playing on steam you will need to buy the expansions on steam, a cd-key will not work with steam.
If you own any expansion you get permanent access to the Raptor. And if you own PoF you are able to get another 4 mounts within the PoF maps. And if you also own the fourth season of the Living World you can get another 2 mounts. And EoD and WvW also have one mount each.
I'm new man you're just confusing me lmao.
The worst mounts out are flying mounts as they ruin the challenge as players just fly to all the hard spots to get where normally you need to think about getting their.
I guess he refers to mount skins in the money grab part.
Mounts are only ruining the experience in areas that were not designed with mounts in mind and only if you choose to use them. And sometimes previously outright frustrating areas (like in HoT) can actually become enjoyable with mounts.
