I've played GW2 almost a month after steam available, and first time i have met some trash peoples at this game. Is this hard to wait for your own HP challenge? I know it's a bit selfish to monopolize for 8~10 minitue to finish, but it will be shorter if i'm dead. also I only do that when no one around there. most intervene trollers were high mastery leveled. they probably have damn HP here.
btw last person was even died middle of their trolling. what a great job.

if someone asked me to do alone for their own fun(soloing stuff) i would let them do that. even i didn't get HP there yet. because this game is full of contents do something not only HPs rewards. also many players play GW2 with various their own fun. some people focused on PvPs, or WvW, or simply roaming the worlds, find soloing stuff, and RP groups. but in steam community, especially this thread, they just compel me "hey, it's MMO thing." as ignore other player's fun and request even that was not really hard to wait(again, that was few mins. and second one was moment.) and reward was not really meaningful than other event also can try able later whatever you want.

after i spend many time to read, discuss, argue them who has opposition to me, most of you guys, seems don't respect(or don't understood) other player who does not 'MMO thing'. especially it would conflict their profit. even it was really small thing, also reclaim later themselves. i have met many players in my game play, most peoples are kind and have manners to not MMO thing players.
i have to ask a question. Is there any rule about "players must be do only MMO thing in this game-play" in GW2? or similar thing? you may answer that, because the game designed like that, be cooperate. but soloing is not really unusual behavior to there. you may find many video about solo stuff from youtube.

you guys just keep compel with mmo thing to me. i do decide what my game play. and my report was those person doesn't respect other player's game play as they didn't wait few minute for their small reward even it get later themselves or together.

I understand you are new to the game. Replacing Ascended with the stats you want can take about a week when crafting it. Having it drop, very rarely does that occur. Again, exotics are cheap and easy to replace.

Next, those that go around farming the map currency don't just farm the HPs. They go around the map opening containers and doing every event they come across INCLUDING the HPs. I have done this myself as I was suggested to do this by players who also have done it. It isn't a "pathetic choice" because again, cheap armor to replace.

Ascended can stat change...however you will need an upgrade extractor to save any upgrades you have on your armor. If not, they get destroyed. Also, maybe they are trying out a new build and don't want to change their ascended. As for the ascended collections you mentioned..those are for elite spec weapons. Not armor. And you only get one with a restricted stat select.

Again, for this game you really only need exotic armor unless you plan on doing higher tier Fractals (due to agony infusions). Other than that, the rest of the game, exotic gear works perfectly fine. I do not know how else to tell you.

Yes.... Bladed armor boxes can be purchased from the Verdant Brink map merchants as well for 500 airship parts. Events do have a small chance to also drop those same armor boxes, but not always. So as you farm for the airship parts, you hope you get some and buy the ones you still need when replacing armor.

Having exotics isn't newbie either. Standard, but not newbie. As I mentioned prior, exotic is perfectly fine to do most content (that includes raids & strikes).

Leyline armor collection nets you one ascended armor piece and Season of Dragons nets you one Ascended weapon box.

guess i differently identified about newbie from your standard. i still treat myself as a newbie. because i only cleared core-story and HoT. now plan to start to path of fire. level 1~80 is game tutorial i think. and Mastery Rank(which you are disagree) is identify newbie or oldbie. because leveling is really need to spend time for get exp to run meta event something. also i got few ascended gear from those event. was just loot from meta event rewards. i thought other player probably can do that in based on my experience. i know it's need good luck for that.

I do not consistently watch the chat channel, even when folks are whispering to me I miss it often. When I'm out and about, I assume everything is "group content" and fair game for all. Why? Because this game is specifically set up that way. Thinking that you should be able to solo all content and others should just wait their turn is idiotic. Normally I agree with this type of attitude but in this case it is a little bit of an extreme take from the OP. He's literally calling people trash players because they jumped in on an event mob. The OP doesn't "own" any mob in this game if it's not specifically a part of one of his instances. There is no "right" by any player to tell others that they can't tag a mob in the open world.

Its an mmo, you don't get rights over open world content. People clear stuff alongside each other to make it easier and get it done and move on. Most importantly and again you have literally no right to tell them not to, its open world content for a reason.

So for my part even if you spammed "solo" at me and then complained in map chat,I would not care, id likely just ignore you and move on with my day and not remember your name the next day after that. right. i admit uploads a video was kinda childish i just upset that moment, i shouldn't do that. maybe i got used to be get too much favor(no sarcasm there) to other players for my fun. some people enjoy together, cooperate, encourage me when i do solo stuff before this case. i thought that is some default of mood in that game. but i should know about that other players may do not care about this and busy of their daily stuff. i shouldn't insult them even they ignore or laughing, bother(just my position in that moment) me. i thought few minute to monopolize there is okay cause contents is everywhere. but as all of people saying in this thread. hero point is for everyone. i can't own this even at just moment. this is for share. not for one person.
