most restrictions are designed to stop RMT spammers from doing their thing. Basically you can trade, but just not everything.
Follow your posts own advice and read lol.
There are some things you can buy and sell with a free account though but it's limited.
It's also stated right here on the official help site:

GG Legendary for the pointless outburst.
And I'll say it for every single online game : you players that buy RMT are the whole root of this problem for wanting stuff without playing the game. You're the reason we all have to put with this crap.
Imagine being ^ that uninformed.
Thanks for the reply. Not every online game does this, not ESO at least, but it's cool that you find any logic in that feature.
Hey, thanks for answering. Not stuff, just to be able to trade, prolly just a couple of apple food for helping leveling. Sorry if that bothers you.
ESO is doesn't have a F2P part, you have to buy the game. SO that limits goldsellers in itself.
ESO is not ftp where everyone can just keep creating infinite accounts if they get banned.
several characters walking on the same position the same path, teleporting around etc.
RMT is a HUGE problem in the mmo genre.
You say that because you have never played a game that was filled with rmt without any check. I can tell that as a regular player it's really annoying, getting spammed by private messages, having the chat flooded with ads, having to fill your ignore list everyday to not see that crap so you can just have a normal conversation with other people in the area without having to scroll the chat 7 times to just see what the guy before you said.
And that's just some of the annoyance (then there is the actual botting).
The reason is to stop bots from destroying the tradingpost as have happen in other MMO going f2p. It is a good choice but understandable that you feel left out because you do not have full access.
If you are f2p make sure to salvage all gear you do not use and gather all nodes you pass so that you can start crafting your own gear and that will save you gold in the long run.
