1. they arent supposed to give "good" rewards
2.go read the achievemnt lists for world bosses then tell me they suck
3.the game was never about mob farming this isnt wow
4.skill progression doesnt stop at 30 - to al thsoe reading this is categorically false. its vertical to level 80 (the cap) then theres sideways progression into specialisations if you have the expansions.
5. No zone is completely empty
6.what you call "orange" is exotic armour and it is not the best armour available at all, above that you have ascended and legendary tears which require crafting.
7. theres plenty of reward if you actually do something
8.OP is a troll
9. i have nearly 9 years of experince playing this game. i know better.
Hell, even for PC Zynga made this horribly popular through their Facebewk "games."
And again the statement you can easily make gold, even with bosses. Do you know what I was told in a discussion under a POF+HoT Review? Bosses like Behemoth aren't very profitable since they're low level bosses. But let me guess he sure was a fanboy of WoW. If you are of the opinion that you can also make gold without expansion, why are other GW2 players saying the opposite? Why no objection from you? At least I can't remember a contradiction.
I looked in the wiki and according to it you get 1 silver 87 copper for Mordrem Vinewrath if you win. Even with crates you're on average, maybe 20 silver in my opinion, for up to 30 minutes of work.

If you then also look at the wiki in relation to fractals, gold, silver, copper are not even mentioned. Up to 3400 karma and you get up to 2 rare items, yes. In addition, even if I'm a newcomer to a Lv. 100 fractal would participate, I would be given a reward level of 0-1. Yes, I know, all just WoW fanboys who make this wiki.

You drag everything into opinions, even things that have nothing to do with opinions, just to present things you don't like as irrelevant. A little tip: Expectations are not opinions. But okay, since you're so into opinions, please. The collection of self-expression and would-be expert you have delivered is "your opinion" and I'll treat it as such until you communicate at an adult level.
Xylion, in a constructive discussion, it doesn't matter whether opinions appear that "first of all" represent the factual basis anyway. Based on what you experience then you can change your mind if you notice from the statements of the opposite that it is different.
Do you like facts? Okay, I delivered some, now you can provide facts about how you come to such statements about the gold. You are welcome to demonstrate farming for an hour here. What you did, where you were and what you got in which form. That would be facts, whether I believe the experiences with you here is another question. (translated)
Everything you say is complete BS. All your claims are demonstrably false. Every single one of them. You have no idea what you're talking about. And why are you posting this anyways? What's your goal? Making a total idiot out of yourself, so everyone can see how stupid you are? Mission accomplished. Congratulations.
You have no idea what you are talking about. Bye
Apparently the person didn't know much about it at all. I wouldn't call him a fanboy of some other game, but I can most certainly call him a person who doesn't know much about gw2.
To elaborate.
The level of the zone the world boss spawns doesn't really matter.
Your level does.
Let's take the boss you mentioned as an example -
The world boss Shadow Behemoth, once defeated, drops the Demonic chest.
That chest is the only chest that drops the staff Final Rest and the focus Spirit Links which are level 80 exotic.
To staff sells for 1,20g on the trading post, while the focus sells for 110g.
The chest also gives you pieces of unidentified gear, which, once opened, gives you random gear pieces that is based on your level and not the level of the location.
Besides the ground chest (that spawns once per day per boss) you also get a bonus chest that contains a piece of rare or exotic gear (also once per day per boss).
It is true that a world boss such as tequatl (also part of the f2p experience :)) will award the player with more loot - however, you'll spend much less time defeating bosses like the shadow behemoth, essentially getting a similar amount of gold in the similar amount of time.
Because with exansions you get more options to farm the gold. Way more.
Fact still stands, that Silverwastes is ALWAYS full of players farming. If it wouldn't be profitable, it would have been empty. Fact also is, that all the world boss fights are full of people. If it wouldn't be profitable, players wouldn't be doing it.
Same goes for fractals and other content mentioned above.
You don't really know how the event works, do you?
Besides the "Hero of the wastes" buff that you get for finishing the meta - which gives you 50% magic find and boosts your Bandit crest aquisition, you also get the Vinewrath chest with additional 2 to 4 lost bandit chests near it spawning as well.
The Vinewrath Chest contains a bag of rare gear, pieces of unidentified gear, random crafting material as well as a chance for an armor box as well as the Preserved Queen Bee Jewel, which sells for 3500-5000 gold.
Each Lost bandit chest contains: Embroidered Coin purses, bandit crests, pile of silky sand, different crafting material as well as the chance for several unique drops (and a rare chance for an ascended armor/weapon chest).
Defeating the vinerath for the first time each day, you also get the bonus world boss chest (as mentioned above as well) which awards you with a bonus rare (or exoric) piece of gear.
You also get a additional bandit crests, several noxious seed pouches, bags of gear and bandit skeleton keys (to open the chests).
Each noxious seed pouch contains more than 1s, one random piece of equipment of your character level that is at least masterwork or higher, a random type of crafting material (from 1 to 8) - and that's for the basic version of the pouch. The higher it gets, the better loot you get from it - with the exotic version awarding you with 1-11 silver, ascended crafting material, chance of unique exotic drop, and 1-10 common or fine crafting materials or 1 rare crafting material as well as the chance of getting bonus karma, or trash/sellable items.
With the bandit crests you can buy many things - if you have some gold, you can spend 1000 to get yourself an ascended amulet/accessory or ring.
You can spend 25 crests for 5 bandit keys (essentially having enough keys to open all the chests on the map), as well as various bags (would have to check which one is worth buying, as all of them are sold for crests + some amount of copper/silver) essentially recycling the crests+silver into more silver.
Also worth mentioning that after the world boss run, the train usually does a bandit chest run. 1 person using an item to find them (they are spread out on the map on various locations) and uncover the sand from them and everyone opening them. Essentially creating A LOT of profit.
See, that "20silver in 30 minutes in your opinion" is in reality actually a lot of gold.
Again, it seems like you don't know what you're talking about at all.
By doing the fractal daily, you get fractal chests depending on the tier that you are doing.
You can do the tier 4 fractal daily and get the tier 4 fractal rewards. The BASE reward you get from doing the fractal (the one that you mentioned) is a bonus.
From the chests that I mentioned, you get
Resonating sliver, agony infusions, fractal encryption keys (which are used to open fractal encryption containers), Pristine Fractal relics as well as the chance of various items like tome of knowledges, ascended salvage kits, dyes, chest of black lion Goods, globs of ectoplasm, mystic coins, +3/+6/+9 agony infusions, various ascended crafting material (deldrimor steel ingot, elonian leather square, bolt of damask), ascended gear (accessories, rings, armors and weapons), celestial infusions.
Similar to the silver wastes, you can use the fractal relics to recycle them into gold.
The fractal encryption containers have additional agony infusions, various trash items (you sell them to the base merchant for 20s, 25s, 30s or 60s depending on the variant of the item), additional fractal encryption keys, fractal relics and crafting materials; with a small chance of aetherized weapon skins)
Then there's also the chest that you end up looting at the end of each fractal (like dungeon/world boss chest) that grants you more loot.
Approximately, with all the resources that you get + the gold, you end up getting between 15-30g - and that's excluding the occasional rare drops such as the celestial infusion, which sells for at least 100g on the TP.
I'll just skip the rest of your accusations since they are based on your LACK OF INFORMATION of this game.
The only thing you proved here is that you don't really know anything about this game, since world boss rewards and fractal dailies are so basic knowledge, that it's extremely hard to not know about them if you actually played the game.
Legendaries? Sure it takes a while, but it is still worth doing it in the end.
