lol... like what asmongold said, so long you can pay to get better in the game, the game is pay 2 win. Exactly like guild wars 2 which is why asmongold won't endorse this game.

Well, it is as I said. The Core game (Free Version), you still have access to many end game content. So it being compared to a big free trial is disagreeable.

what i meant trial is because originally its trial product, but i guess im wrong because there is no time limit and its a complete game so f2p is correct word :)

its just when i bought expansion when on sale there is so much more things to do compared when im f2p, not that it needed to in the original game.

just trying point out from my experience anyone can completely enjoy big content like meta event/world boss and wvw in f2p, so my opinion there is no way buying expansion is p2w, its just unlock more content and new way to play the game

Buying expansions expands the game... at least I hope so. Guild Wars 2 has been expanded upon in the years from its release improving the game and putting up new content. Even now, Anet is planning to rework the core game for new players joining on Steam. They care for this game. I for one welcome it. Not a lot of game companies put in the love and care these days.

Yes, but elite specs aren't upgrades to the class. They are more or less side-grades as core classes are still viable and powerful. It just depends on how you built it.

That's the players being elitists. You can be effective in an all core spec party. You maybe just won't be as fast as elite specs. So?
