I have a lot of those too. level 20 all the way through to 80 also those one level jump books. Handy when you know the starting areas like the back of your hand and are desperate to move to new lands, new lands.
I done that today. I opened the gifts of another 4 characters and I actually got some good stuff. I ran some level 20 and 30 scrolls on a throw away character, delete, rinse and repeat.
I ended up getting some really good stuff from those Lions gate emblems thingy's.
I was at it all day, and it was fun. Happy days.
No, it's not keys I still rarely see any of those. It's these dark coin things you get, can't remember the name right now but you can spend them on good stuff. Like 13 gets you a makeover.
Plus I also got a ton of nice dyes, skins and stuff I don't quite know what to do with yet as I have been away from the game for years.
Something I didn't know was when you get a makeover you get a s*** load of new hair styles and colours so that you can make your character look totally unique.
Maybe I was wrong, the drops might not be worthless after all. :D
One story? Is that your personal story? I don't bother much with the story so I don't know.
Black Lion Statuette is the name you're looking for!
The free keys don't come from chests. The 1st you get by finishing the level 10 story, 2nd is on the first step of the level 40 story and the 3rd is around the middle of level 60 story. Those can be obtained once per week, per account.
Other than that, the power of the credit card is the most reliable way to get them and then you can freely indulge yourself in the magic of the lootboxes. /s They have a chance to drop from mobs as well. In over 4k hours I got 2 of them as drops so I guess you could say that it doesn't have a high percentage on the drop tables.
I don't care if they gave a thousand keys with the chapters. There is no amount of free loot that would have me play those story quests
I agree with you there, just wanted to clear up where those aforementioned keys are from.
Convenience in the game can be mighty expensive.
