I remember when I first heard about the Foefire, I literally thought it was so funny. Even though like, it was some super IMPORTANT AND LIKE SERIOUS THING IDK. I have a mini of the king that did it? I forgot his name.
Also I just remembered another world boss that I love fighting too, uhhh that pirate lady? That spawns at the same time as Tequatl. If you're not making terrible, awkward pirate jokes while you're carrying the powdered kegs to the front gates at the start of the event, you're totally missing out tbh. If anything, the only thing about that event that I'm ehh about is how she like kinda teleports around the ship and stuff. Also the great Jungle wurm is fun since it dies in like three seconds since everyone just swarms it and it has like idk the least amount of hp probably?
I'm just getting flashback to the LDoA title
I think the real lag happens in wvw. Sadly no mmo could handle skill lag in large pvp battle.
But yea gw2 kinda spoil the mmo genre for me. There are so many QoL features that make other mmos feel ancient in comparison.
Core gw2 maps have so many memorable events: the cow racing event, meatoberfest. It feels more peaceful than the newer maps
PATH OF FIRE IS FUN! But like, only when you're not after Mounts I guess? Then it might be annoying. Also that one mission in the PoF story where like, you had to kill enemies or else they might sound an alarm or whatever to call for reinforcements? I HAD TO ASK FOR HELP TO FINISH THAT! Like people came and helped which was great, but gosh it was a pain lol. And that one mission where you have to shut down portals and you're disguised as some high ranking soldier guy and you can order like, mummies or whatever to attack? I had trouble with that at first too. The final boss fight of PoF was amazing and became an inside joke with me and a friend though so I loved that. I've replayed it a bunch of times, it's so much fun to do. Especially since you can do it with other people!

I also love how the chain events play out; i dont need to talk to npc to start or finish a quest/event. Everything feels so dynamic, compared to other mmo
The voice acting for non important npc is so well done. This one really strikes me the most

With that, I went back to GW2 instead last month and glad I did for many reasons! Got to finish crafting my first ascended gear set for my main, finish LS4 story as well as obtaining the beetle and skyscale. Bought some neat stuff during March sale, still waiting for Icebrood Saga(LS5) to go on sale, maybe next week hopefully.
GW2 made me remembered how much I like the squad system for PvE content. You just hop in instantly with 30-50 players to do whatever meta or stuff they are currently doing and they won't judge how you play. Also glad that it doesn't have a daily "queue for dungeon" you must do to get nice things, it just not my thing anymore, I prefer doing meta in a open world PvE content with a lot of players in a squad.
I am excited for EoD!
Dang, that some dedication that guy got. After getting my ascended gear and the skyscale, I concluded that I won't bother with Legendary, just way too much work. Ascended stuff is enough for me already lol.
When it comes to stats you will be missing on nothing by staying with ascended as legendary doesn't increase those. What legendary offers is the ability to change stats and runes/sigils on the fly. They should be a better value when ArenaNet releases the legendary armory as that will allow you to equip a set or weapon on multiple characters at the same time.
lets be real and stop pretending. game forums outside steam became draconian years ago. "misinformation" is a term often now used to censor criticisms esp in social media. i love the game but it doesnt mean ill start simping for em. and btw im a new player so i just encountered the stop light mechanics so dont tell me im too late to talk about it since i genuinely found it funny
