Guild Wars 2

[Linux] Reshade Guild Wars 2 and other games ...
For those playing Guild Wars 2 with Linux there is a nice tool to apply Reshade shaders to Guild Wars 2 and other Steam (+Proton) games easily - without chainloading arcdps!

vkBasalt https://github.com/DadSchoorse/vkBasalt

You put "vkBasalt.conf" next to game's "exe" file, change the settings and/or convert existing prefixes over (needs some rewrite) and apply
ENABLE_VKBASALT=1 %command%
to game's Steam launch option or user's env vars.

For details follow the instructions on that site.

I'm yet to try vkbasalt, does it improve anything in terms of performance, even for a bit? I mean, I play everything on high with 60-90 fps in open areas, but WvW and Open events still hits hard dropping my fps to around 30ish. :)

No, it improves graphics quality, by applying custom shaders. Adding Valve's "fsync" patches to your kernel may improve perfomance. Although, performance issues in WvW might rely more on network bandwidth and/or how many players the game has to sync the same time. Think of it big 150 player clashes need to transfer a lot of data in a very short timeframe. This can affect perfomance, too.
