Please stop putting Free to Play tags on games that aren't.

Most MMOs use F2P as a marketing tool, but I'm here to clarify: GW2 base game is an extended trial, not a F2P game. The "free account" has many restrictions, which include a very limited chat function, no trading or mailling, along with many gameplay related functions locked behind expansions and living world.
Think of the "free experience" as your free trial of the game, you are free to roam around areas from the revised base game from 2012, free to level from 1-80.

It was considered a full game in 2012, but most of the old content was abandoned and is barely worth playing since the rewards are so terrible, you are still getting a nice amount of content for free on steam to try it out. I highly encourage everyone to purchase Path of Fire, as it also nets you the Heart of Thorns and it's just years of content packed into a nice package. End of Dragons has a weaker story and content, but I'd also get it for the elite specializations alone.

There are features locked behind the expasions like gliders, mounts and advanced classes, these would aid you a lot when leveling a new character and account. From my experience as an old player, mounts are a massive upgrade I can no longer play without, bear in mind people telling you mounts aren't required to enjoy the game are probably riding a Skyscale, a flying mount with 3D manouvering, vertical takeoff and air hovering (my favorite mount btw), don't let them fool you.

Fair warning if you are a PvP enthusiast, to fully engage on PvP and WvW you would need the expansions, some of the best class combos are locked behind them and mounts are just mandatory for WvW, you don't want to depend on others for mobility.

The in-game gemstore sells Living World 2-4 and Icebrood Saga bundles for gems (in-game currency you can buy with gold or money). Living World 1 is currently being released for free.
With these purchases you get the current full experience.

In a nutshell, your implication makes every games who goes for F2P features not F2P and are all P2W. We've really came down to hear that if money saves time then it's P2W, not even talking competitively, just for PVE to which apparently specific conveniences are also P2W.

Can't be anymore low, the newest challenge should be, find any game out there that;

• The whole game is "free".
  
• Has no microtransactions at all. None, not even cosmetics.
  
• No expansions / Subscriptions.

According to your main post claim, there is such game out there. Games that are F2P in a proper form that you could attribute the tag. If GW2 or many others aren't but free trials, then what other could be?
