Legion Gold

Legion Gold

Chariots of War?
Now that Legion is on Steam are there any plans to bring Chariots of War to the platform too?

It's not something we are against, certainly.

Cheers

I would get it as well. Also a gold edition of Spartan/GoT.

Hopefully, this will motivate you guys to finally make a sequel....

Yup, I vote Spartan and Gates of Troy please guys ! those were awesome !!!

I appreciate you bringing Legion and making your way to steam but ultimately Legion is inferior for me so that will be a pass at the moment - but if you bring Spartan and Gates of Troy you have my money !! :)

Simply yes. More old Slitherine goodness.

Spartan / Gates of Troy would be amazing! Please! That series (that started with Legion and Cow) was really going in an amazing direction. I've always wished you guys would pick it up again, I think it had tremendous potential! But a Spartan/Got updated and patched and playable on Steam would be the next best thing!:AresHelm:

I kind of am surprised why they started with the weakest game in line up XD

It was a 20th anniversary gift :) It's the game that started it all (and frankly the one I put the most play time into over the years!).

Cheers

Far enough, I have to say Spartan and Troy have really made an impression, still can hear that music that reminds of that movie about russian forces in afganistan!

+1 for Spartan & Gates of Troy those 2 were awesome maybe with abit of a fecelift? Even without it they still look gorgeous.

Edit: Also would love an expansion, a game that brings together Legion+Spartan+Chariots of war would be lovely imagine a map that big with lots of different cultures clashing, playing as macedon would love to march my phalanx to italy or Persia or Egypt

Please bring Chariots of War on Steam.

So an update of sorts.
I asked the question again about Chariots of War and Spartan joining Legion on Steam last Thursday (14/01/21) during Slitherine's Tea Time video. The answer was that there are definitely plans to bring them to Steam but that heritage/catalogue products are not a priority for them at the moment as their focus currently lies with their new and upcoming games, etc.

Thanks man...that is good news. Good you asked at an event, the more people remind them the better :)

Yeah....sometimes older games are still the better ones.

Awesome news. So true, graphics don't always equal quality. But I am grateful that FoG: Empires plus FOG2 scratches that same 'Ancients' itch. Now, my follow-up dream - an Empires with battle integration. It wasn't that hard or annoying for me personally, but I can see it being a deal-breaker for others. Maybe there would be a way to limit those who don't buy the (complete module of the battle side of things) whether that ends up being FoG II or FoG III or whatever... by only allowing the playing out of their own Empires generated battles (no options for other battles/campaigns or MP etc). - Can't wait FoG: Medieval :thronesbritannia:
