Congratulations on killing your already dying game

All the comments in this thread are selfish towards their own wants. Not what's best for matchmaking in general. Maybe a handful of you are going to actually try the 3 player mode they requested feedback on. The rest of you are just talking ♥♥♥♥. Supervive will be fine without you. :)

I believe it's a great change. The reason and the change makes sense, and most of the hate comments doesn't know any other solution. So If you just gonna complain and say "it's over", sorry, I don't believe you.

I still think there will be a lot of work in the balance part, but since you have already done the 2x2 and 4x4, I have faith that you can do a great 3x3. I would help in the test but unfortunately it didn't come to the Brazilian server, so I'm looking forward to the live game.

Can be sad for some people, but THE GAME will remain, and everyone will be able to play, wich is very better than letting the game die just cuz we don't wanna play with 1 more/less person (but yeah, the dream would be having 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, normal and ranked. But we work with reality and I understand when that's not possible). Anyway, love the game, hope to play more and nowadays the only reason I'm not playing, is cuz when I try I take 30 min queue and give up. So finding a match will be amazing.

I believe this change gonna force some players leave and do not attract new ones. One of the biggest reason why me and my friend plays this game is duo mode (most of the games focused on trio and 5), so no reason at least for me personally to stay here.

Of course I understand why they are making this change, I'm not stupid. I like this game, but definitely not gonna play with randoms it's not fun for me. Hope game would be alive and grow till they will be able to return duo.

Can I just remind people the game is still in early access? If not for the success of a steam next fest we wouldn't even get to play this game 24/7 like we do now. Honestly, if people are going to be so dramatic as to quit, just take the game offline again, and go back to scheduled playtests like THIS one (remember, this is a playtest for a reason IT'S NOT FINAL THEY CHANGE ♥♥♥♥ ALL THE TIME). Serious drama in here right now...
I get the sentiment, of not wanting to break up the play group, and your voice is definitely going to be heard, but give em the chance to test out trios. I'm personally excited, but I'm also a solo player so I have nothing to lose here.

Don't do it. Just remove duos and make everything squads. Have always been playing as a 4 man group and this will kill the game from my crew.

The viability of this change really hinges on whether there is a plan to attract more players in the future. Will there be a huge ad campaign on release? Fine, even if 50% of the playerbase quits, the current player count is insufficient to sustain the game anwyay. If the plan for growing the player base is organic word of mouth, I feel losing a large portion of the playerbase at this stage would be pretty detrimental to that goal.

I think the change could be worthwhile; squads can feel a bit too crowded. There are a few ways this can be solved, but dropping a person is probably the easiest. As several others have suggested, a merged queue might be the solution if the aim is to reduce queue times.

Are you listening to some kind of pro players who are constantly crying that game is not balanced? Cluthing 1 vs 4 is fun as well as 2 vs 4. It is normal that this is hard, but this creates cool highlights. This decesion is clearly ruining game. You can add trio but you will have to stay with squad and duos as well. It will be the best decesion. For pro crybabies there will be trio and for normal people who love fun there will be 2 other modes.

I still want to be able to play in 4 man groups! But happy to see trios enter the chat. But I don't want it to come at the cost of losing my squad

Same. As a new player that just started playing duos w/ a fried, sorry, I don't play games in my limited free time to have to play with PUGs or with a handicap. I'll enjoy the game until this releases, but after that I probably won't touch it again unless this gets reverted.

I also held the opinion quads had too much damage so you can die fast. Been having more fun in duos lately
