Oh this kinda sucks... I have 3 friends I consistently play with. I think squads should be kept in unranked at the very least. I'm not sure reducing team sizes will solve this issue since there's always a chance of getting third-partied or the 1v3 includes some spicy damaging characters. The "lethality" lies in both the skill & the character/team comps not so much the team sizes imo.

Always played squads with three friends, we won't be playing trios - Whoever is making decisions there might need to no longer be allowed to make decisions.

Wow uh... well there goes my group playing this game. We only ever played either duo or squad. Now either someone needs to be left out or we need to play with a rando. That does not sound fun at all. Probably should go ahead and NOT do this.

Terrible change. Game could've been great, but the devs just make too many drastic changes in the wrong areas.

Bad idea. As people posted below, a LOT of groups consisted of 4 people, you're going to infuriate a lot of players by doing this.

Remove duos if that's what it takes to make queue times faster, but going trios is just not good.

You're also removing a lot of synergies between the characters by removing one slot.

ontop of all the crap going on the key is a random maga reference for what? why alienate your base further with politics?

u don't think about the people who have 3 friends and everytime they play are full squad, now i need to find another game to play with them

I am done with it. The game already has too many issues with balance and art. This just makes it worse with removing that 4th slot for the squad.

why break the mechanics? Give the players the opportunity to make a decision. I understand that this may increase the waiting time. But a compromise can also be found for you. Do not make a choice of 1 out of two, but a checklist. For example, we start the search, and check the boxes that we don't mind playing 2x2, 3x3, 4x4.
