[Bug] Always ask to install Microsoft visual C++ Runtime
Every time I launch the game, it asks me to install this prerequisite.

If it's not installed, the launcher will perform the installation and then launch the game. However, if it's already installed, it will uninstall it and then launch the game (and the game works perfectly after that...).

I suspect there's an issue with this prerequisite being installed somewhere else...

Strange that there is nothing about bug report in the FAQ...
Or no sub forum about bug report...

For me if it is installed, it asks to "Modify Setup" and the only available button is uninstall. When I click this I get "The feature you are trying to use is on a network that is unavailable" so the uninstallation doesn't work. Thus I can't play the game at all.

Yeah this happens for me too. Every launch.
Have tried validating the install, and installing entirely from scratch with no results.

Things to try then I'm out of ideas:

1)
- Verify game file integrity, then restart Steam and the game

2)
- First, Steam client: Settings/In game: Delete web browser data
- Then, Settings/Downloads: Clear download cache
- Lastly, reinstall the game and restart Steam

Deleting the browser data and clearing the download cache can be good just in general for when Steam starts lagging or games fail to update or download well.
