You think this game is balanced? hahahahaha
Top games are like this; Hudson vs Hudson with a bunch of grunts with cc abilities trying to sneak in and get an opening without Hudson hitting them. Low tier games are like Shrike in 90% of every team, usually with a tanky character to protect her, LIKE HUDSON, you see her picture EVERYWHERE on the player list when you join.
Visual clarity, albeit not bad, takes the backseat to excessive particle effects a la League of Legends. Audio clarity is non existent. Way, wayyyyyyyyy too many neutral items to the point of idiocy. I have played for 12 hours now and I still find new neutral items every game that I haven't the faintest idea of what they do. And these aren't stat boons but actual ability-like items. The battle royale aspect just turns every game into pure pandemonium.
It's perhaps the ultimate zoomer moba we have seen so far: turn off brain and press buttons fast to watch things go boom.
My only real issue is how overdesigned some characters are. You'd expect a game to launch with easier, simpler characters with very obvious abilities, but a large majority of the roster is actually incredibly skill reliant, with abilities having 1-2 extra effects.
I don't really understand why characters like Brall are even in the game right now, when a large majority of the roster has no tools whatsoever to deal with him.
And then you have Hudson and Shrike which requires 0 skill to be played in lower tiers, no timing, no nothing, just press the shoot button and they will destroy if you can point your crosshair on to an enemy, like you know, every similar pvp game in existance..
The game is not only about fights from 0 min
Late game is the same because better players will abuse Hudsons for his ability to cut off parths and outheal players that tries to poke him. Hudson and his team is getting stronger if you just run away and let them take every vault and boss on the map. Have you even read what his RMB does? Guess why Hudsons attack range was nerfed from 1500 to 1400, was it because he is super weak and easy to counter, especially if his team are competent players? What do you do if everything good is contested by a team with a good Hudson team, do you follow your brilliant strategy of just running around with no levels and no item upgrades? Hudson is a problem because he can shut off parts of the map without abilities, and you are just having a bad time if you got no big farm, Hudson is not alone, he got 3 teammates and some can probably stunlock you if you go in.
