Why no support for ultrawide screen?

The game is very good but I can play it on 21:9 ratio with starched display only, why not make it a proper ultrawide support?!

I set the resolution to 2560x1440 with Fullscreen "On" while in game, then I used the screen size tool in the settings to stretch everything to fill the screen. It now fills the screen with no bars on the sides, although it does look stretched a bit.

I'm not sure if this a permanent fix though.

yep the game still looks fine, you can stretch it out so there's no black bars on top or on the sides. and the game still looks great.

I agree with this sentiment, its so niche, it wouldn't be on my list of priorities either.

i have a 21:9 monitor, and we're only like 3% of gamers or less on steam. its not a game breaker, because the video can be stretched out so it looks like its using the full monitor. and the artistic style and quality still look wonderful. so yeah its not embarrassing. if you couldnt stretch it out and it didnt look great, then it would be embarrassing. but thats not the case is it.

I had similar problems with other games where you couldn't even properly set the resolution, so that it was impossible to open some menues and so on.

It does work with black bars and forced 1920 in game settings. One time game started in full 21:9 screen, no stretching, nice graphics, but it ate health bars and subs. Don't know how actually, it just happen. So or play with black bars, or if you can start it to play in full screen, but without status bars.

Bump, 3440x1440 and no support. Have bought the game but might refund if ultrawide support doesn't come soon :(

it works setting it to 2580x1440 or whatever its highest resolution is. then there is an option to stretch the video in the game to fit your monitor width. works fine, looks fine

i have a 34" dell ultrawide 3440x1440 21:9 monitor and it works fine, looks fine.
