It's honestly not that bad (was: Glad I only spent $1.88 on this)
Yeesh. Single enemy hits taking over half my health...just ACCESSING the vessel thingy to see what upgrades I have == respawn everywhere...lack of any real exploration...very few things in the world to really interact with.....cooldown system is awful....enemies have health regen, but you don't (least I couldn't find any). Just bad experience all around.

Updated: Found the assistance menu and it made a big difference to the gameplay. Pretty much wasn't like a souls game anymore...more like just ole RPG. For what I paid for it, it was honestly not bad.

That's how most of the soulslike work, at least in the beginning. If you're not in the beginning, you must be doing something wrong.

That's how most of the soulslike work. Depending on the game, if you use the vestal, or bonfire, or shrine, or vestige, or whatever the checkpoint is called, most of the enemies respaw.

That's how most of the soulslike work, at least in the beginning, controlling stamina is not easy. It gets better and better as you progress in the game and start upgrading.

I played it a couple of months ago. I confess I don't remember this enemy that regen health, but I'm sure you can overcome that. 👍🏽

Uh...first boss I think....noticed that the health was slowly regenning.

Nope no health reg at all, just played the entire game on GOG and didnt have a single enemy dojng that, and you can damage them and run, when you come back guess what their health is still down.
Rest of complaints is, as Jorge said, souslike normal gameplay.

Haha...well mystery solved. I was trying out the health regen mod from nexus and SURPRISE....the health regen is apparently across the board....EVERYONE gets it, including the enemies ;)

You used a mod on a game you haven't played it, honestly tried it a few days back with new hardware. I remember why the early game was rough. combing and follow-ups have this specific timing that if you mash or mix time you stop attacking.

I couldn't do it. The amount of times I got hit because my puppet wouldn't dodge because of a slightly early push. Yeah, no.
