Human sacrifice. Is that like when Christians drink the blood and eat the flesh of Jesus every Sunday?
I know seeing blissful ignorance is infuriating, OP, but you gotta try to just laugh it off in clown world.
We are all going to die one day, anyway.
At least you know where you're going.
Если бы не было революции, то сейчас бы Франция была страной номер один в мире, а в США бы говорили по французски
What do you mean? The common knowledge about the French Revolution is that it absolutely was exactly what this guy said. Anyone in the know about history knows the French Revolution was awful for the people of France. I'll give you one example. You're a counter-revolutionary in the city of Nantes. You and the majority of your fellow residents of Nantes are all counter-revolutionaries. The revolutionary in charge of your city is Jean-Baptiste Carrier. You are not lucky. Carriers revolutonary men kidnap you and your family/friends, strip you all naked and put you on a boat that is designed to be sunk. Carrier then watches from the river as the boat your on floats along on the Loire river before sinking and drowning you and your friends/family.
Yeah, that's a thing that was done by a French revolutionary general named Jean-Baptiste Carrier. He not only executed 2000-9000 civilians in under three months, he came up with this sadistic way to do it for his own entertainment because guillotine wasn't entertaining or sadistic enough.
I mean as if that example wasn't good enough, they literally call the reign of Robespierre "The Reign of Terror"...that's literally the name of it in the encyclopedia brittanica...I'm sorry you're ignorant of history but the OP wasn't making up a conspiracy you dumb mother ♥♥♥♥♥♥.
You mean that when other country declared war to France it was Napoleon that declared these war? What a nice way to rewrite history...
If you put your account in private it show as level 0, and anyone who don't want kid to stalk them put their account in private.
So you're saying that the golden age of France that was during monarchy were worst that today where people can't even buy the food they want and don't know if they will be able to pass the winter with a heater because of the lack of energy? Or that people are happier since the start of 1900 than they were during the peacefull time of the middle age?
Europa was ruled by monarchy from the fall of the Roman Empire to the renaissance, you're going to say that all the people lived opressed by tyran for a thousand year and no one tryed to revolt?
Could it be that your are biased after eating too much republican propaganda and that monarchy in itself can't be "bad"?
I'm embarrassed for you.
Here's a fun fact for you: Mass media, everything from movies to video games, will tell you that Native Americans were innocent creatures who were perfectly at peace with nature, and that the white devil came in and ruined that by over hunting everything, introducing the natives to alcohol, killing them with foreign diseases, and just generally destroying their incredibly peaceful and virtuous way of life.
If you can't tell by how this is going, that couldn't be further from the truth if you tried.
But here's what I'm not going to do to you, okay? I'm not going to condescendingly tell you that the developers of "This Land is My Land" are a bunch of liars and misinformers, and I'm not going to turn to you, point at you, and say "THE DEVS SUCK. You're being lied to! EDUCATE YOURSELF!"
Have you maybe considered that the developers just wanted to tell a story that sounds something like "Okay, what if, in France back in the Victoria era or whatever, there were robots that some guy made that run off of something? What if we made a game about one of those robots fighting other robots, and the backdrop is the French Revolution?"
I haven't even finished this game and I love the premise, because it's just a different take on Steampunk, and that's neat. You're thinking way too damn hard about this man.
