so I have installed the game today. I have ran into a number of bugs and errors. I'm verifying integrity but I want to take the opportunity to record them
the club dance floor. dancing when drunk or sober is loosing command options to progress the scenarios.
club toilets. cant activate the glory hole action even after 3 hours of gameplay doing various things
massage parlor. taking Oliver to the showers cannot proceed when having condom intercourse command error.
sauna. cannot activate options, command error.
dom. cannot proceed with lewd activities. kate wont proceed. only option is to exit the room or clean the room with clothes on.

started a new game in case of corrupted save file after verify integrity check and the issues still persist

I am having the same issues. Game won't let me start the gloryhole, which also seems to be locking all of the other options.

why there is no way to roll back to 1.03 patch or something is beyond me

*wince* I want to say no to that Demo..... Im going to point out that the steam wants to put on the public face of being a positive company that doesn't condone violence, R*pe, etc. and while many developers put on the facade to share that sort of vision of a line that shall not be crossed, (I say that because of the many Ubisoft, Blizzard and EA/Activision allegations) one cannot say that the creators of this game have not shared the same ideology, that they dared to delve into the void of the obscure; now they are merely trying to toe the line as best they can whilst still making the sale of their product. while many of similar type of game developers offer an external Add-On-R18-patches available externally to steam to bring the game to its original product; this game is unfortunately not playable at the moment. story choices that would otherwise lead to something else have been simply cut and thus begat conflicting errors. this is a game, a creation of fiction and shall not should not and will not be replicated in real life.... certainly not while Im within proxy and I'm sure many of the online community would agree with this mentality (there are many ways I would like to say I oppose of sexual violence but want to remain civil). but its a story with very real components of life for some and that should be respected both as an understandable point of acceptance that bad things happen and its how we both rise above and accept those that carry the weight of such a history. the content that was cut from this game isn't just a smut cut, it cuts out a piece of this games humanity, as dark and grim as it may seem, there is something to be said about being surrounded by all of the noise going on around and working towards your goals. Kate wants an apartment of her own and while the city has the potential of falling into all kinds of traps there is this one wholesome feasible goal that she can obtain for herself and its that reason why all the content that was cut out should stay in. otherwise its no different than the simple cut and dry (first story ending) story of Stanley's Parable where there is no deviations or pit falls. it becomes a tripe story not worthy of experiencing. sure we can point out that the extra fluff is smut, but hey, that part is life in its more unfiltered, "here it is, this is what your dealing with now, what can you do to get out of this repetition of being raked over the coals and coming back for more." that's what I respect about the developers of this game. cutting that content from it really diminishes its potential. by comparison games like hatred exist and have no one respecting anyone saying, "well, maybe you shouldn't do that." because that's not what the current media demographic's goal is.
I think this game has the potential to develop the mental maturity to accept victims of s*xual violence in a way that they wont feel separated from society, and maybe I should leave it at that.
