So no, they wont add things like manual battle or levels and skills
Best we can do is avoid this game and play something better
I never support threads that argue this game is cheap so this game should be cheap too. Its absolutely silly.
The guy who makes $7.25 an hour does 5x more than you do, you should make what he makes an hour. You see how crazy it can get?
1.you can customize your character in the form of the deck you bring this affects the build you aim for on your hero
2. this isnt supposed to be a final fantasy like game go play that if you want it
3.Actually play the game you can influenece exp gain
4.Game isnt too simple some aspects yes are simple but not too simple and thats part of the charm of it
5.Play the game stop baiting
6.You want the game not to be simple but then complain about something that requires you to think
7.Game does need a higher speed not for the reasons you say tho
Devolver Digital isnt a major successful company??
Bruh
Never even heard of Irongate or Coffeestain Studios before Valheim, but Devolver holds its own EXPO every year and is a big corporation
No excuse why Loop Hero is so bad
You tell me to play the game, then to not play it and play final fantasy which is actually a better game and way more successful
You agree the game is too slow, but dont want to fully agree because for whatever reason youre suffering from sunk cost/time fallacy thinking the more you invest in this the better it gets, and now youre realizing how wrong you are
In addition: Most of your claims are wrong. There is a level up and skill mechanic. You can change cards, you just need a building and a card for it. "No challenge, no skill" is not true as well, as the entire end of the game resolves around tactics, how to build your character, how to build your deck and how to build your camp and supplies.
It seems you played the tutorial and stopped.
The game is some sort of "reverse tower defense". Complaining about not beeing able to control your character is just crazy...
Well, I don't know how far you are in Loop Hero, or how good you are, but the game strikes me as having a lot of hidden depth that really isn't obvious till you play a lot of it. I'm only just hitting chapter 2 so what do I know? But I am certainly discovering delightful little tricks and combos all the time as I proceed. There's depth here.
And since, you mentioned it, I find Valheim is so painfully average that I can't see what all the fuss is about. 7 Days to Die is much much better, for example.
Devolver Digital is a publisher.
Coffee Stain is a developer. Coffee Stain made a lot of popular games Deep Rock Galatic, Goat Simulator, Satisfactory just to give a few.
Publishers fund the game but have a lot of say and don't like going over budget where they know they can make a profit.
I'm not here to really argue but if you can't see why someone who makes $20 not have their hourly pay reduced to $7.25 because the guy can also do the same job and more then we have nothing to discuss.
The games are differently priced and Loop Hero is MORE than affordable and so far a lot of the buyers I'm seeing well worth the time put into it to get what is considered their moneys worth.
Its $15, you spent 60 hours staring at the same screen but couldnt see the price?
Thats great you enjoy watching a game play for you, but for me Id rather pay an extra 5 and get a game like Valheim where I can play for 600 hours with full control AND play with friends, which you clearly are lacking with that attitude
I played Loop Hero for 10 mins and was bored, so tell me how its worth 1.50 a minute?
7 days is also only 10 dollars more than loop hero and has much more content and multiplayer
Im just saying if Loop is going to be so simple, it should be under 5 bucks
No multiplayer, no character skills or levels, no control, and graphics on par with Atari/Gameboy. Underwhelming for 2021
If you like Valheim better, great. go play it. Having variety is great isn't it? You could have looked up the demo. It's still available on a website. The dev linked us to it on release day. I think the demo disappearing is more a steam thing. But regardless......tantrums really are disgusting to look at.
Maybe Loop Hero just wasn't for you. Move on?
