Farms can share fields, so you can have up to 6 farms sharing a field if you alternate row of fields/row of farms... eventually you will replace them.
The best way to get infinite resources is to do an infinite (no mob) chapter 4 run.
Smallest deck possible that includes oblivion, lantern (4 adjacent to every road tile), town (for roads that only have 3 adjacent tiles), vampire mansion (next to the last mob tiles that aren't fully lanterned so you can find the last few lanterns without taking 20+ loops to do it), and at least one of: grove, cemetery, ruins (they give resources for walking through).
I like suburbs+meadow for landscapes when doing this (low (18 & 15) weight, gives metamorph)
Mining picks can also be used to get resources/loop if you have them.
Once set up, just let it run while you sleep or something, then use an auto-clicker to alchemy the resources you get into whatever you need.
