This is why in situations where the "Boss spawn bar" is almost filled, you will spawn the boss when you play Oblivion. The game reads it as a "card was played" which bumps the "boss bar", which is enough to spawn the boss, so the game spawns the boss... but then your bar goes down from the Oblivion removing something... but the game can't "unspawn" the boss, so you end up having to fight the boss despite the bar not being filled.
TLDR: Basically, when the "Boss bar" is almost filled/one card away... playing an Oblivion card will spawn the boss. If the bar is 2+ cards away from spawning the boss, then playing Oblivion won't spawn the boss. Hope that makes sense.
Sure thing. I found out the hard way playing Oblivion can spawn the boss when it was so close. Near the end of the loop I played it, expecting it not to spawn the boss... except it did, which prevented from getting the Heal from Camp and I promptly died lol.
So now I just expect playing Oblivion will spawn the boss when the bar is so close to full.
